How To Select Pearls Accessories - Part 1

Greeting Dear Readers,

In this post, I would like to share about how I select pearls accessories. It is very important that we have a number of pearls accessories so it will complement a wide range of clothing or fashion styles. Pearls make it easy and affordable to mix and match to a wider range of fashion style. However, it is very important, that we know how to assemble our pearls jewelry.
Followings are some basic tips that I normally used:
  1. Selecting pearls accessories that would go along with the color of my attire: I always believe less is more. Try not to adorn too many pearls, gold, beads jewelry all at the same time. Pick one accessories that will accentuate your style of clothing. According to popular style, we tend to pick accessory that is the same color as our dress. Contrary to this, try to pick accessory that is of different color than your dress (but the color stay within the same color group). For example, if your dress is yellow tone, choose a green crystal bracelet. Choosing a blue crystal, pearls necklace would also be very complementing and add radiance to your ensemble. The key is to add elegance and to project an aura of classy touch in your style.
  2. Selecting pearls accessories that would match my watch of the day: If you have a wonderful collection of watches, it is a good idea to pair each of your watch with specific accessories. For example, if you have a stainless steel bracelet watch, pair it with a dark blue, pearls crystal bracelet (Inset photo: I matched my Tissot Generosi-T with a dark-blue crystals, pearls bracelet). If you are wearing a black leather strap watch, pair it with a yellow tone, freshwater pearls bracelet or with a pair of eye-drop pearls earrings. Try not to pair a stainless steel watch with a gold tone bracelet or accessories, not only it is not complementing but your appearance will look crowded.
  3. Selecting pearls accessories that are complementing the handbag I am using: You may use this style tip if you are wearing a basic plain color dress but your handbag has a signature monogram design. For example, if your handbag is of brown leather tone, the perfect accessory would be a black leather strap watch and a white, freshwater pearls bracelet. This is sure to add a sheer elegance to an otherwise a plain ensemble.
To be continued...

  1. I like tip #2, though I only have 1 watch, black ceramic/metal (or whatever is the wristband made of) so probably I should wear black pearl-silver bracelet?

  2. Hi Fathin! Thanks for your comment! :)
Yes, you may wear a black pearl-silver bracelet to match a white blouse and a dark blue jeans. You can also wear a black pearl charm bracelet that has a mix and match of bright colour crystals such as purple or green to give a delighting contrast to your black ceramic/metal wrist watch.
